Chantelle Atkins was born and raised in Dorset, England, and still lives there now with her husband, four children and multiple pets.

She is addicted to both reading and music, and is on a mission to become as self-sufficient as possible. Chantelle writes for both the young adult and adult audiences.

Her fiction is described as gritty, edgy and compelling. She has published a number of novels – The Mess Of MeThe Boy With The Thorn In His SideThis Is Nowhere and The Tree of Rebels – as well as a collection of short stories. Her next novel, Elliot Pie's Guide To Human Nature, is due out on 5 October.
